Gov't to devise countermeasures on falling birthrate by next summer
TOKYO — The government will set up a panel to devise strategic measures by next summer to counter Japan's rapidly falling birthrate, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hiroyuki Hosoda said Tuesday. The panel will be comprised of cabinet ministers and experts, Hosoda said. The government will also hold a meeting of cabinet ministers and top officials from the economic and labor circles in October to launch a national movement to encourage working men and women to take time off to raise children, Hosoda said. Justice Minister Chieko Nono doubles as minister in charge of measures to counter the falling birthrate.

==============
As told in this news,the recently low birthrate is said to be one of hottest topics in Japan. The rate is getting worse every year and the latest study showes as low as 1.2 that is the lowest, or second lowest in the world.
Many experts annalize this phenomenon but there has been no theory to persuade Japanese people into having more children. And what is worse, most of Japanese, especially younger men, have little interest of this topic.
Almost every Japanese woman loves children and they are dreaming about having their own baby one day in near future. But they are virtually forced to stop thinking about the dream because of many obstacles.
There are so many problems we have for having babys, so we have only one conclusion that in 2050 Japanese population will be below 100 million, which is over 20 million fewer than present.
