Strong politician in Tokyo

Ishihara says U.S. can't win war with China, calls U.S forces incompetent  Kyodo News. WASHINGTON — Tokyo Gov Shintaro Ishihara used a speech in the U.S. capital Thursday to convey his views on China, arguing that economic containment is the best strategy because the United States would "certainly" lose a war with China, which he said would not hesitate to sacrifice its people on a massive scale when fighting against an enemy.

Shintaro Ishihara, Tokyo governor and one of very famous writers, has been a key person in Japanese political world. His plain speech and strong attitude to China and other Asian counties help people to think “Ishihara will be the next Prime Minister”. What is more his young brother, who died almost 20 years ago, was a movie star whose story has become legend now. Thanks to his brother’s influence which is still quite strong for older women, Ishihara will keep such a strong popularity that some other politicians strongly recommend him to run for Prime Minister.

However, he likes to talk about army too much. If you think about one of Japanese shyness, he is a rare person who has ability to speak what he thinks in his mind. Therefore I still understand his value as a politician the way many people like him. I must put emphasis on the aim of him. That is his speech is made just for bringing an idea for people to contemplate on what situation we are and what we should do next. I believe he wants the world to become what he says.
