North Korea cannot change?

@ 07:05 PM (33 months, 26 days ago)

North Korean nuclear talks resume  BEIJING, China (Reuters) -- Delegates to six-party talks aimed at ending North Korea's nuclear weapons program arrived in Beijing on Tuesday for another round of negotiations that will build on a disarmament agreement signed in September. The talks, which group the two Koreas, Japan, the United States, Russia and host China are to open on Wednesday and are expected to last three days.

The country most hated by Japanese people is certainly North Korea. Or exactly speaking, North Korea is a region for us because Japan does not accept as a nation.

A couple of decades ago, North Korea was thought to be a paradise on earth so that many Japanese, who are now called “Japanese wives”, left Japan and headed for North Korea. But recently North Korea has been the farthest country to Japan. The fact that North Korea kidnapped more than ten Japanese people made the things much worse. Japanese people now believe that the people of North Korea are perfectly brain-washed by Kim Jong Il so that the regime should be collapsed immediately. Although Japanese people are concerned about the power of North Korea’s military, more than half of us want our government to take some actions to North Korea, such as economic sanction.

But we should think about the fact again that Japan 60 years ago was much alike current North Korea. We worshiped Emperor without any doubts. We could change a lot. How can we think that they cannot change?
